StoryWalk® Ribbon Cutting! In-Person
The Greensburg Decatur County Public Library is excited and proud to present the Sally Crane Memorial StoryWalk® at Rebekah Park!
This StoryWalk® has been a dream and goal for the library for many years. We were fortunate to receive a memorial donation when past board member and local teacher Sally Crane passed away in October 2018. At that time, the money was earmarked for a potential StoryWalk®, but the land necessary to build it was unavailable.
The addition of the Rebekah Park Next Level Trail this summer was the perfect space and opportunity to create the StoryWalk®. The City of Greensburg supported our vision and allowed us to install the walk on the new trail section. The StoryWalk® was born!
Join us to celebrate our NEW StoryWalk® located on the Rebekah Park Trailhead. There will be snacks and drinks, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and a scavenger hunt for pictures in the book on the Story Walk, complete with a small prize!
We will cut the ribbon at 5:00 and enjoy the first StoryWalk® book - We Are Definitely Human by X. Fang - along with the other activities.
