Community Composting Workshop with Purdue Extension In-Person
Join us for an informative and hands-on program all about composting - what it is, how to do it, and how you can help support our local community garden!

- Composting basics: What to compost and what to avoid
- Easy composting at home
- How compost supports healthy gardens and soil
- Community composting rules and collection guidelines
- How to volunteer to collect and manage compost for our garden
Bonus for participants! Everyone who attends will receive a 1.3 gallon composting bucket to take home! Use it to collect compostable materials and bring them back to help nourish the Decatur County Community Garden!
